THE ENGLISH GARDEN

英吉利の庭

Welcome, こにちわ

Outside number 9 is for gardening enthusiasts committed to nature benefits and regenerative practices whilst celebrating the beauty of plants.

Hi, welcome to my garden which is located in south west London. It is actually a series of five gardens encompassing a dry sunny front, a shady side, a main rear and then the garotment, my allotment on a garage roof. Last but not least is the wildflower verge, an adopted area outside our house, requisitioned from the local council. The garden runs on regenerative principles, no pesticides or herbicides and very little garden centre brought compost.

The garden opens yearly in mid August for Charity as part of the National Open Garden Scheme. Group visits are also offered throughout the summer for 7 or more people. contact cc@cquester.co.uk to make reservation.

I intend to post diary entries once or twice a month, highlighting plants of interest and explaining the techniques that I employ. Blogs, including videos, will be available in both English and Japanese (modest proficiency).

I hope you enjoy the blog as it evolves, feel free to offer constructive criticism.
